Imposing roadside pub, orientated at right-angles to the road; main entrance off car park. Smart, comfortable public bar with beamed ceiling, and an even smarter large two-section lounge/dining area (step down to lower section), also with beamed ceiling. Fairly standard, but good value, pub food. Separate lunch (to 5pm) and evening menus, plus specials, with evening themes (grill night Monday, curry night Wednesday, fish & chips Friday). Free pool Friday 7.30–9.30pm. Scooter Club meets here alternate Sundays. Wheelchair access to most of the pub, but no disabled toilet facilities.
