Relatively modern friendly locals pub, built in 1964 with part timber facade, featuring a superb display of hanging baskets in summer. The smart public bar is bright and airy, the lounge has plush leather seating and subdued lighting, and there is a conservatory attached to the latter. Quiz night first Sunday of month. The pub has its own football team.
