Merry Widows

The Merry Widows is an interesting pub standing on a corner having the two entrances and a triangular configuration. It is directly opposite the Railway Station and is ideal if travelling into the city to get your bearings before starting out on a visit. It has historic football photographs on the walls and is a pub with a loyal following, well worth a look in. it serves one Real Ale which varies. The interior is split into two by a sturdy arch which also splits the bar. The lounge area also has a dart board.
