Tap

The Tap is a handsome building just over the Derwent Bridge from the Market Place. It has recently been refurbished throughout and given a fresh modern look. Downstairs are two pleasant drinking areas and a small yard; there are also small rooms upstairs and a roof terrace. In addition to real ales, the Tap features a wide range of interesting world drinks ranging from bottled Belgian beers, through foreign (keg) lagers, to wines and less commonly available spirits. Tasting racks and sharing boards add to the fun.
