The Tiger is tucked away down Lockup Yard, which leads from the Cornmarket to the Guildhall (Victorian) Market. A long standing Derby institution, it remains very much a community pub though in the heart of the city. The pub was originally part of one of Derby's major coaching inns and features in Derby's annual Bonnie Prince Charlie weekend. More frequent weekend activities include it as a starting point in local Ghost Walks (Lockup Yard may be a clue here), and on a more cheery note, there are DerbyLIVE! shows, and happy hours.
