Lively Victorian, community-oriented free-house which has been under the ownership of the same family for over 30 years.
The L-shaped drinking area has arches linking the busy public bar with a marginally quieter lounge and another small lounge beyond. Features include an unusual porch, bar tops inlaid with around 6,500 old pennies, and a red telephone box (with working telephone) in public bar.
No meals at present, but planned for late 2021 after a refurbishment.
