Bought from Enterprise Inns by Vicki Roberts and Paul Wallis. Reopened 29/11/13 as a free house following substantial refurbishment. Grade II listed with old beams and open fires. Lovely courtyard and covered smoking area. Large real cider list. Gin bar with up to 60 gins. Good selection of malt whiskys and fine wines. Ham and cheese cobs served. Pop ups on occasional Wednesdays. The Hickory Pig operates the kitchen serving real food in basket meal format; all fresh foods and homemade chips. Tuesday steak nights.
