Town centre former Bass Charrington house that traded under a variety of names as it gradually drifted towards closure in spring 2019. The archive photo suggests that it had once been part of the tied estate of Hoare's brewery, which was acquired by Charrington in 1933. Re-opened as a club and music 'venue' 28th August 2019. Changed back to being a pub 4th July 2020.
