Hartford Hall Hotel

Up market hotel, formally a 17th century nunnery and manor house, near the A556 retaining its original oak beams and real fires. Rumours still abound of a secret tunnel between the hotel and nearby Vale Royal Abbey, presumably to facilitate illicit meetings between the nuns and monks! Remains open till 11.30 Fri & Sat when a function is being held. Occasional live music. Extensively refurbished Spring 2021 and relaunched under the Marstons premium Revere Pubco brand.
