Opposite Saint Chad's Church, a Thwaites pub now run by Inns Profond (Cheshire) Ltd. [Padiham, Lancashire] Re-opened March 2012. Had been closed for some time and offered on the Atherton's website. Has undergone extensive renovation. Food oriented but with good selection of real ales.
