Nags Head

One of two pubs on the main street through the village. On 1840 Tithe Map, listed as a Common Allotment. Is on the 1875 OS map as Claremont Villa. Was once a Boddington's pub until the brewery sold all its pubs. [The local primary school hosts the World Worm Charming Championships every June.]
