It is noted for its food choice and quality. The interior is effectively one large room with subdivisions defining the public bar, lounge bar and dining room (including a spacious conservatory). Five beers are normally available, one being a changing guest. Tuesday evening is darts and quiz night, and there is live music on the last Saturday of the month.
