This is the Congleton pub that has the widest range of constantly changing micro breweries. The range is dispensed through 6 handpumps. New breweries always get a welcome here which they lose if the second brew does not match up.The focus is clearly on the beer offering with the rugby and football TV viewing (important but ) a poor second.The owner manages and runs the pub and is always available for comment and offers detailed knowledge of the existing and new local brewers. For non-pool and darts players, a game of backgammon is available- if you can find a like minded person.
