Country Inn popular with locals and visitors alike on the main Atherstone to Twycross road, overlooking River Sense. Popular at weekends with passing cyclists. The 2 roomed pub has a bar area and a lounge/eating room. The traditional pub menu has weekly specials. The new landlords (August 2017) have plans to extend the outside seating area and convert an unused outhouse. Regular beers Pedigree and Courage Directors plus 1 varied guest. From 2019 the Black Horse is free of tie and, as a result, is offering a varied selection of guest ales.
