The pub has gone through a major refurbishment in 2016, merging the pubs formally know as the Lounge (Haunch of Venison) and Bedford together to form one large town centre pub under its new name, House. The pub is split into various themed areas on two floors which includes a roof garden giving it a spacious yet intimate feel.
