Built in 1923 this pub has barely changed. In the lounge the fireplace with inglenook, centre table and chairs are all original; the public bar is similar though the smoke room and accommodation have gone. The two guest beers are carefully chosen from Marston's stable to ensure a good range is available with an emphasis on stronger ales. The upstairs function room holds upto 120 people and is available for hire. Live music most Friday evenings. No food on Mondays.
