Pub recently re-opened after a period of closure so description below will be slightly out of date. Smart, well appointed pub originally the Hare & Squirrel. Popular with office workers etc during the week up to early evenings. Younger drinkers weekend evenings, but closed on Sundays. Food available during the day. Small outdoor seating areas both at rear and adjacent to New Union Street. Function room upstairs also popular with wedding guests -- registry office across the road. Two regularly changing guest ales available.
