This attractive, busy pub in a quintessentially English village is welcoming towards locals, diners and drinkers. The guest ales are sourced mostly from local microbreweries. There is a large outside area with both a garden and a patio.
The pub has been recently renovated and is the latest addition to Chef of the Year 2002 and ex-Gordon Ramsey Restaurant Head Chef Mark Sargeant's portfolio. Mark is a Michelin star chef whose award-winning food has been developed "to mirror simplistic but perfect pub meals". A "bar menu" is available 12-9, Mondays to Saturdays.
