Royal Oak

A traditional drinking pub. Darts, crib and petanque are played. There's a quarry tiled "L" shaped main bar which leads to a quiet covered patio area. Local sketches are framed and displayed on the walls. An unspoilt snug bar was closed for many years. The pub is located away from main village settlement in a small hamlet close to a popular caravan & camping site. The nickname, "Dickie" is a Suffolk dialect word for a Donkey.
