Registered as an Asset of Community Value this pub is now owned and run by the Great Oakley Hub community organisation, becoming (when they completed in February 2016) the 40th Community Co-operative pub within the UK. Purchase of the adjacent Red House has added a beer garden to the pub; plans for the Red House are for community flats and a restaurant. Hot and cold bar snacks available. Advanced food booking is sometimes required, so book to avoid disappointment.
