This fine weatherboarded pub is in the heart of the older part of the village, near the railway station. The second Monday of the month is Acoustic Night, Quiz night is on the second Thursday and Poker night is on the last Thursday. The pub retains a traditional dog-friendly public bar (with level access and a wide door) and a quiet lounge bar. Outside is a large garden and a smaller decking area.
