Originally built in 1820's as part of the development of lead mining in the area. Located in Maeshafn, a small hamlet in Denbighshire, it is surrounded by scenic countryside and is popular with hikers. Under new management it was refurbished mid 2018 with one central bar area split from a dining area by a double sided wood burning stove that creates a warm atmosphere throughout the pub. There is also a pleasant seating outside area at the front of the pub. The food available is snacks only at the present time.
