Reopened as a Samuel Smiths house. No Real Ale at present but there is hope that it might return. This town-centre local has two bars with many photos of Flint's past plus a separate games room with darts and a pool table. Tuesday is quiz night and weekends can be busy with karaoke. There is a free car park adjacent. Flint Castle, where Richard II was imprisoned, is close.
