Cleveland Arms

Pub was reopened in September 2017 following structural repairs and refurbishment necessary after a major explosion in New Ferry on the evening of 25th March 2017. The refurbishment has given the pub a clean modern appearance while retaining a very traditional layout and atmosphere. A very lively town centre local in pedestrian shopping area in centre of New Ferry. Large free car park at rear. The black & white photos were taken in 1981 when the pub was a Thwaites tenancy and a regular Good Beer Guide entry.
