A 200-year-old coaching inn at the heart of the village of Hawarden, the Glynne Arms is a comfortable place to try local beers and good quality locally sourced food. The semi-circular bar serves the bar area and adjacent dining room and there is also a separate restaurant with real fire. Decor is sympathetic to the period of the building with several references to the village’s most famous resident, William Gladstone. Popular with walkers visiting the nearby castle and park.
