Cheshire Cheese

Friendly local, the current building dates from 1885 but a pub was known to be here as early as 1561. With a separate bar and snug, the handpumps are located in the lounge, with guest beers. Outside is a walled garden where regular beer festivals are held. Excellent home-cooked meals are served. Quiz nights are Monday and Wednesday and the pub hosts a golf society, football, darts and bowls teams.
