1 Town Hall Square

Opened in Sept 2017 this pub is aimed at the drinker and specialises in cask and craft ales. There is a small bar with a seating area off it whilst upstairs are another two small rooms with more seats. It is all very compact so expect it to be crowded at busy times. Decor is traditional with exposed stonework, tiled and wooden floors, low beams and brewery memorabilia decorating the walls. The pleasant entrance couryard is a nice sun trap for a sunny afternoon. No food is served - the emphasis here is on beer - but customers are welcome to bring their own. Butty Bach may be substituted by a beer from the Coach in Bridgend, as that brewpub is under the same ownership.
