Refurbished a few years ago to a very high standard, with an emphasis on high quality dining, the Windsor serves a selection of ales mainly from the core Brains range. The pub is usually a relaxing and comfortable environment, with a cosy front section with soft seating, a long dining/drinking section opposite the bar, and further tables to the rear. Popular with families for Sunday lunches, it is lively on weekend evenings with live music acts.
