This family-run town centre local has been in the Good Beer Guide for nineteen consecutive years. A traditional two bar pub with a strong local following, the long stone-floored public bar is well used by darts and pool teams, and the comfortable lounge features a carpeted floor, wood panelling, and the entrance to the beer garden. Large screen TV for sport in both bars. Guest beers come from local brewers and from afar. Thursday is karaoke night.
