A new couple took over the Tudor in the summer of 2014 and have made a vast improvement over the last 3-4 years. The pub was in a bad state of repair and the new licensees have undertaken a total refit which they have done themselves. Food has recently been introduced. The pub is currently a contender for the GBG and has won the local CAMRA branch's Most Improved Pub of the Year award for 2018.
