Farmer's Arms

Also known locally as "The Pub on the Pond", this spacious, attractive roadside inn is situated opposite the village pond, which is usually occupied by a family of swans. Reopened in April 2019 after closure and refurbishment, and with new licensees since August 2019, the pub is now open plan but with three distinct areas, one mainly for food, lounge bar area is comfortably furnished and is where dogs are allowed in bar area only. Large flower pots and hanging baskets make the front patio a pleasant place for a summer drink. The food is mostly locally sourced and freshly cooked on the premises and vegetarian / vegan and children's menus are available. World food evenings on a Tuesday, an occasional farmers' market and a Sunday evening quiz are some of the other attractions on offer.
