Totally refurbished in 2014, beers from South Wales breweries feature strongly in this town-centre Wetherspoon hotel. The building, named after a centuries-old local family, dates from 1792 and has 25 en-suite bedrooms available. Seating ranges from high stools to comfortable settees in the three distinct sections, including areas suited to dining. A conference room is also available for hire. The pub opens at 7am to serve breakfast and non-alcoholic drinks and the bar opens at 9am.
