Free house at the northern end of Taffs Well a short distance from a footbridge over the River, linking Taffs Well with the village of Gwaelod-y-Garth on the opposite bank. The gravity-dispensed guest ales are stillaged at the back of the bar and there are up to 2 available. Small independent brewers favoured with big hop flavours a common feature. Up to two ciders from local producers available on handpump. A range of craft beers may be appearing soon. Good-value meals (kitchen closed Sun eve and all day Mon).
