Opening in August 2015, Thirsty is an off-license on Mitcham's Corner that's much more than just an off-license. As well as well-stocked shelves they also have tables for drinkers in the main area and also in a back room. "Craft" keg beers (including some which can be real ale in KeyKeg), bottled and canned beers as well as wines are available to drink on site. Following an early 2018 refurb they now have 22 taps, 12 serving beers. Thirsty is cash-free. Card payments only. Gourmet food vans are outside most evenings. Having run Christmas market style events behind Mackay's on East Road and other one-off events, in 2017 they launched the popular Biergarten/Wintergarten which have been held in several locations.
