Brewery Tap

Friendly local with a single L shaped bar. Black woodwork and beams and white walls give it a comfortable village feel. Situated opposite the gates of the former Waterbeach barracks, home to the Royal Engineers until 2013. The military link is continued by framed posters of regimental colours, badges and medals. Although there is now a brewery (Milton) nearby again, the name refers to James Froment's brewery, which closed in the early 20th century. The ales tend to be Wherry or Landlord, sometimes both.
