450 year old timber-framed building on the main road which was built as a farm house and became a pub in the 1840s. It was well refurbished in late 2010. The T-shaped interior sports oak floors, bench seating rescued from old churches, handmade chunky tables, an inglenook fireplace with wood-burning stove and framed photos of old Histon. From the main entrance there is a bar area for the mixed clientele to enjoy a drink and further on a seating area suitable for diners. Seniors lunch menu available. Traditional roasts on Sunday. The website relates to accommodation in the pub's adjoining two bedroom cottage.
