King William IV

Characterful pub, usually known as the King Bill. The L-shaped lounge comprises an old front section with exposed timbers and brick-built open fires at each end plus a modern rear extension. The small lower bar has bench seating and is devoted mostly to the playing of pool and darts. The large patio-style garden is accessed via the lower bar or the car park. Three regular ales plus up two guests. Traditional village local with Friday meat raffle and Sunday roasts. Gourmet food vans on Friday evenings. King Bill Sunday League football team are based here.
