The sole remaining village pub, with a restaurant and garden, now revitalised by a young, energetic couple. It offers a warm and friendly welcome and runs beer festivals, events and other local celebrations. An interesting and varied range of local beers is available alongside an extensive food menu. The pub is an important social centre for this village and the surrounding area, and a good base for walkers and cyclists. A monthly quiz night is normally held on the third Wednesday.
