Ickleton Lion

A tastefully renovated 300 year old village pub with a substantial beer garden. It has a centrally located single bar with seating areas around it and a central fireplace between the bar and dining areas. There is also a small family area with it's own very large fireplace. The menu ranges from light snacks to substantial meals in the restaurant including a 3 course Sunday lunch. It's four handpumps offer Greene King IPA and Timothy Taylor Landlord as regulars and two others from the Greene King Guest List. The pub is home to 2 football teams as well as to the Ickleton Cricket Club. New licensees took over during the November 2020 shutdown.
