King's Arms

Pub situated in the centre of the village is a popular stopping off point for visitors to the area walking the Hadrian's Wall route. Community pub with library, band practice every other Sunday and regular quiz on Thursday nights. Set on the Solway coast in an area of outstanding natural beauty it is popular with bird-watchers and cyclists as well as the 'wall' walkers. Snacks available thoughout day in summer as is pre booked breakfast. Also has pool darts and domino teams.
