Sour Nook Inn

On the B5305 on the southern edge of the village this pub has a Tack room bar, Pool/darts room, Function room and restaurant. No food on Wednesday. Food is locally sourced and reasonably priced. The area 'tractor group' meets here on a regular basis. The local fells pensioner group meets Monthly for a specially produced lunch special. It usually serves at least one guest ale from the local Hesket Newmarket brewery in addition to Sour Nook (Tetley bitter). Check if open before travelling.
