Screes Inn

Recently changed hands; the owners of the Strands, opposite, now own and run the Screes. The pub has undergone a modest refurbishment. All bedrooms have been refurbished. Friendly place with a mix of visitors and locals, this was once a Temperance Hotel! An unspoilt pub, with its stone flagged floors, is split into two areas on two levels, one the main bar/lounge and the other a lower bar area. Free wifi - no mobile phone reception in valley. Nice outdoor drinking area with great mountain views at the front
