Centrally located close to the bus station, this modern bar and restaurant serves up to three well-kept local real ales (but no requirement to eat there!). Often a real cider is available on one of the handpulls. Food is fully home-made using the finest of local produce and suppliers. All meat comes from local Cumbrian farmers within a 30 mile radius and fresh fruit & vegetables from Star Fruits in the town. Boutique accommodation is at budget hotel prices and there's lots of live music and other events.
