On the main road into Donaghadee, about 20 miles from Belfast, the Moat Inn has a public bar, lounge, upstairs restaurant and garden area for summer days. There are two handpumps in the public bar supplying beers mainly from the Whitewater Brewery, often Belfast Ale and Copperhead, with occasional guests. The seaside town is well known for its scenery including the lighthouse and the picturesque harbor just a few hundred yards from the bar. The Moat is a very pleasant place to drink and dine in.
