As Bangor's oldest public house, this retains a traditional feel inside. It features a central bar, along with stone walls and flooring. It has sold real ale for many years, and now sports one hand-pump serving ales, mainly Doom Bar and occasional local ales. Good food and live music feature, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday. It also has a beer garden and a nightclub upstairs.
