Reopened in autumn 2019 under new management An old authentic English pub near River Avon. It is named after Alexandra, Edward VII's Queen, and is a friendly and welcoming pub with a beautiful slate bar, stripped floorboards and a roaring real fire. There is a weekly changing menu for lunch, dinner and tapas as well as breakfast from 10 am on Saturday. Food comes from local award-winning sustainable suppliers. There is a changing ale selection with beer offered straight from the barrel. In addition there are splendid cellar rooms and a small courtyard garden which make the perfect destination to cater for all types of functions. Wed. is curry night, Thurs. Burgers - great Sunday lunch (booking advised). Board games available. Free car park across the street.
