This popular pub not far from the County Cricket Ground was formerly the Ashley Arms. It reopened in 2010 after a period of closure. Free house with up to four real ales and two real ciders. The upstairs bar can be booked as a function room and is used on Wednesdays evenings alternately for a film club and a comedy club. Dogs are welcome and children until 8 pm.
