Characterful village pub with flagstone floors and many original features, decorated with interesting local artefacts. Four guest beers, mainly from local breweries, are delivered from a row of old cask heads behind the bar. Up to 16 ciders are also stocked. Pub has a deserved reputation for the quality of its food. Food is served lunchtimes and evenings, except Sunday evening, which is quiz night. The pub has real fires and a large garden. Mendip Morris Men meet here.
