A genuine community pub just off the Wells Road near the junction with the Bath Road. A large U-shaped room, with a central bar, includes a stage and a TV on one side, with tables and seating throughout. The beers come from small to medium-sized breweries in the Bristol area and further afield. Regular live music features: Thursday open mic night, bands Friday and Saturday nights and a Sunday afternoon blues jam session. The pub is active on Facebook with upcoming music events being listed. Board games are available to play. In addition, the pub hosts regular quiz nights, usually Wednesday. Sunday roasts are very popular and advance booking is recommended. 2 ciders from local producers are usually available in 'boxes'.
