New Inn

This classic village inn is the centre for many local events including the famous annual turnip prize and international spoof. The public bar, lounge and dining areas are complemented by a beer garden to the rear. A chalkboard lists forthcoming ales, mainly from the west country, all served from three handpumps. Traditional, good-value home cooked food is served. There is a skittle alley/function room and winter skittles and darts provide a hive of activity.
